Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings in 2011 were up 9.9% over 2010, with Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings down -8.6% over last year based on estimated filing figures for October 2011. Nationally, Chapter 13 filings rose 1.9%, with Chapter 7 filings down -4.6% for the same period.
